Your library. Your device.

At a glance

ENCORE Soundboard is developed by Dzmitry Paplauski. The app has no account system, advertising or cross-app advertising tracking. Your audio library, playlists and pad settings stay on your device. Optional usage analytics are described below.

Audio and settings on your device

When you choose audio in the system file picker, ENCORE copies it into its local app storage. Track names, categories, favorites, playlists, saved setups, pad assignments, colors and playback preferences are also stored locally. The app does not upload these files to us or operate its own cloud sync. Your file provider may download a file you select, and Apple may include app data in device backups according to your system settings.

Local backups and recovery

ENCORE automatically keeps local copies of saved metadata to help recover unreadable settings. You can also create a separate manual checkpoint of playlists, banks, settings and saved setups in Settings → Data Recovery. These copies do not contain audio files. Restoration preserves previous metadata locally before replacing it. Backups and preserved metadata stay in the app’s local storage; ENCORE does not upload or share them.

Deletion and retention

Deleting an imported sound removes it from the active library and deletes the app’s local audio copy. It does not delete the original in Files or another provider. Local recovery metadata may retain names and past settings. Using Delete App in iOS or iPadOS removes the app’s local data; offloading the app retains its data. System backups are managed separately by you and their providers. Keep your original audio files: metadata backups cannot restore deleted audio.

Subscriptions and sound packs

Apple processes ENCORE Pro subscriptions and one-time sound pack purchases, including applicable renewals and refunds. The app uses StoreKit to check Apple-verified purchase status and restore access. ENCORE does not receive your payment card details and does not send your audio or setups to Apple as part of purchasing. We do not operate an account or purchase-tracking server.

Optional usage analytics

After the introduction, ENCORE asks whether you want to share usage analytics. Nothing is sent through Firebase before you agree. You can decline without losing any features, or change your choice in Settings → Privacy & data → Share usage analytics.

If enabled, Google Analytics for Firebase processes app interactions (such as imports, first playback, saved setups and store views), purchase activity, session and installation events, app/device information and an app-instance identifier. Google can derive approximate location from IP addresses; ENCORE does not request location access. Firebase also processes technical SDK diagnostic information. We use this information to understand usage and improve the app.

We do not send audio, file paths, file names, setup names, category names, support messages, payment-card details or a custom account ID as analytics events. Advertising-identifier support is excluded; IDFV collection, advertising consent and automatic screen reporting are disabled. ENCORE does not use these events for personalized advertising.

Turning analytics off stops future collection and resets locally retained Analytics data and identifiers. This does not automatically erase information already processed by Google. Our Analytics property is configured to retain event-level data for 2 months and user-level data (including key-event data) for 14 months. The user-identifier retention period restarts with new activity, so an active identifier can be retained longer than 14 months from its creation. Google deletes expired data through its monthly deletion process. These limits do not apply to standard aggregated reports, which may remain longer. For questions or deletion requests, use the support contact below. Because we do not connect analytics identifiers to your email or an ENCORE account, we may need additional information to locate relevant analytics records. See Google’s privacy policy and Firebase privacy information.

Protection by service providers

We require service providers processing personal data on our behalf to provide protection consistent with this policy and applicable data-protection requirements, including the protection required by Apple's App Review Guidelines. Google Analytics operates under Google's data-processing terms, which include purpose limitations, confidentiality, access controls, encryption and deletion obligations. Google lists Analytics among its processor services. We use the consent and advertising restrictions described above; we do not authorize advertising use of ENCORE analytics.

If you contact support

You can email . We receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send, and use them to respond and investigate the issue. Our email provider processes those messages. We keep support messages as needed to handle the request and related follow-up; you can ask us to delete them. Please do not send private audio or unrelated personal information.
